Oslo Innovation Week is an international meeting place for sustainable innovation, with over 30,000 participants, 400+ speakers and 150 partners. The event is owned by Oslo Municipality and operated by Oslo Business Region.

Oslo Innovation Week needed a digital presence and website that could support the event's growth and make it easier for an international audience to find out.

Skalar designed and developed a new website adapted to both physical and digital formats, with a flexible application system and support for new visual identity.

Where we started


When Skalar entered the project, Oslo Innovation Week had a website that no longer reflected the event's ambitions or development. The event had grown greatly, both in scope and reach — and there was a need for a more modern, flexible solution.

The goal and mission of Skalar


Our goal was to provide OIW with a website that could keep up with the event's development. We delivered a solution that made it easier for visitors to find out, for organizers to make themselves visible, and for Oslo Innovation Week to communicate who they are. After launch, we have further developed the website in line with the needs, including the implementation of a new brand.
